She and Dawson are the same size! He weighed 20 lbs. the other day. It looked like, in the pictures from the doctor, she wanted MOMMY! Hooray! It's good to be loved!
I'll be at my scrapbooking weekend when y'all get home, but I can't wait to see y'all when things settle back down. I'll call you in a week or two.
Wow! She looks so healthy and so happy and her hair has grown so much. You can already see how her little personality is going to blossom now that mom and dad are around and she feels safe and loved. What a blessing you all are for each other. Thanks so much for posting the new pictures and updates. I know it costs you time and money, but all of us over here are hanging onto every word. We are already praying for your trip home. See you soon!!

Oh...the Scales family is complete!!! I can tell that Olivia is being taken care of. It seems as if she gets cuter and cuter in each picture. She is truly a doll!! I know that she weighs 20lbs, but on that doctor's table she looks tiny. I can't believe that you guys are going to be back. I know this is what you guys have been waiting for....to bring your baby girl home. I am waiting on the day that you bring her to meet your 4th Grade buddies. It is so surreal.....It is finally time for everyone to meet Miss Olivia. I can't wait. I love the stickking out the tongue pics. They are precious. Lots of love and missing you. Tasha
Stephanie/Tyler, she is sooooo beautiful and the look on her countenance is sweeter and sweeter each time you post. Tyler you are looking more and more comfortable with her and it shows. What an experience!! you both are wonderful parents and i am soo excited for you! Stephanie, she probably started sticking her tongue out like that after Tyler started teaching her those horrible words "Roll Tide", i know that it makes me feel like that!! Her expression sort of looks like yuch that left a bad taste in my mouth daddy......just let me suck my fingers........and hold me!! love ya both, vince and regina.

Words can't express the feelings those pics convey!! God is sooooo good and He gives to us above and beyond our expectations!!! "Every perfect gift is from above..." You and Tyler have received a perfect gift from our Father in heaven!! She is precious!!! The joy you three are feeling spills from the screen and overflows to all of us who see the pics!! I am lifted up each time I log on and I am reminded of my own 2 gifts and how much being a family means to me!! Your family is an inspiration and I am praying God's blessings on you three!!!
Steph and Tyler Those smiles and that little personality coming out every day just makes me shout to the Lord with praise. It is simply amazing to see what love can do in such a short time! Perfect love cast out fear, and with the love of Christ richly dwelling within you two and to be able to give His love to Olivia well is the reason He has given her to you to teach her about His Perfect Love. I can't wait till you step off that plane and she is officially an American Citizen and then home sweet home. Tyler,Hannah Beth is sticking both arms and saying Toooool Tide. She already knows that crimson color is so pretty.

Olivia is soooo beautiful! You can tell from all the pictures what a difference that tender loving care makes! The students come in every day excited and asking are there any new pictures? They just told me to tell you that they love you and miss you and can't wait to see Olivia! Praying for you all!
Hi Ty, Stephanie and Olivia - I'm praising God with you today. It's countdown time and I'm excited! She's beautiful and I can't wait to hug her. These past few weeks, you two have reflected your faith in God to so many people here and in China. His love comes in many ways. He has sent His angels in many forms and guises as miracles that He alone devises. He will continue to bless you once you get home as a family. Mrs Scales, You might not remember me, my name is Helene Denton I'm Jacob's mother in your class room. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your story with us, It really touched our lives, Jacob and I have been following you through your journey, and brought me tears to my eyes quite often. It is very sad to think of all the children that might never have a home and we are thankful to God for our healthy children. We have been praying for you and we welcome little Olivia Jilan. She is so beautiful!
