Stephanie, I just found this!!!! I am so excited for you! I've called your house about twice a day for the past several day, so please ignore all the numbers on the called id. I can't wait to see you all! God bless you all!
Suddenly, you have become the ideal family! Models in God's showcase of what His love accomplishes. We have never been more proud of you. We love you! Harvel & Derenda
Stephanie and Tyler, We continue to see answer to prayers each day that we read your blog. We are so happy for you! GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME, YES HE IS!! We are looking forward to seeing Olivia at church, praying that ya'll will get to return earlier than expected. All of our love and prayers, Bill and Faye Aycock p.s. if you can't remember who we are, we are Stacy Johnson's parents. She is so happy for you!
Olivia is just beautiful. I can not wait for you all to get back. God is Good! She just fits in with her new family so well. She is so blessed to have so many people back home that love her already and can't wait to see her. I can not express how happy I am for you all. As technology savvy as I think I am, I've been having so much trouble posting. Hang in there with Olivia, I can already tell that she's taken to you guys even more. It would be near impossible to not fall in love with you and Tyler. Keep posting the pics. They truly make my day each morning! We all miss and love you. Tasha P.S. I can't wait for Chloe and Ava to meet their new friends
Thank you so much for posting the new pictures. They are certainly a bright spot in my day. I keep pulling them up and looking at them again and again. I can't wait to see Olivia's sweet little face in person.
Stephanie- I have been following your blog, we are in the process of adopting from Ukraine, so I love reading every one's stories. I think I (somewhat) understand some of the things you are going thru that relate to post int. parenting. But I will also tell you this, as a biolgical mom of three beautiful girls (one of them is Ellie-She is in 6th grade now), God allows us to teach and learn thru our children. No matter where they were born, we as parents have to find our groove, learn our child's unique personalities, and know that at the end of every day, we have made a little progress. One day you will look back and think, Thank you God-that we not only made it through the transition time- but that olivia grew and you and your husband grew and somehow God was honored and relationships were built even in the midst of all the choas!! My advice (to any parent) is 'don't miss the journey trying to get to the destination'. I know you are enjoying her and soaking up every bit of her beautiful life. You are so blessed and I am sure it is easy for you to see! You may have already found this verse but it's good- We Thank you, O God! We give Thanks because you are NEAR. Psalm 75:1 I pray things continue to go well for you and that you are home soon. Melinda Isbell
Stephanie, Oh do I remember counting down the days until the return trip HOME sweet home, and yet, once you have been home awhile, you look back and can appreciate the time spent in your child's birth country more. (once you are past some of the jet lag, out of the humidity and into your comfort zones again and you and Olivia know each other more each day!) It is amazing. We have been home 3 weeks and each day feels a tiny bit easier than the last. I have really struggled with impatience, just wanting that TRUST to happen already with Josiah and the Lord showed me, "Let patience have its perfect work that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." James1:4 This entire adoption experience may be the most difficult journey you and your husband have shared together, but I know it will also be the most rewarding. Praying for supernatural peace and for God to minister to Olivia's heart and mind, even as she sleeps. Love, Holly (waiting china mommy- no longer waiting!)
