Happy 1st Birthday, Olivia August 18th

Olivia turned one today. We were sad that we were not there to celebrate with her, but my friends and family made sure that we celebrated her birthday. Olivia was showered with gifts and we can't wait to watch her play with all the toys.

She's Finally Here!!!!

After 22 long months she's finally here!!! Chinese name: Gwan Jiaou Lan, renamed Olivia Ji'Lan Scales residing in the Dongguan Children's Welfare Institute, Guangdong Province of the People's Republic of China. We received her referral August 2 at 11 months old, 17 pounds, and 27 inches long. We just missed her 1st birthday August 18. We are now waiting on our travel approval from China and hope to hear from them VERY soon. After seven long years, we are thrilled and amazed at how God has chosen to bless us with this precious child!!! Our plans are to update this site so you can follow our journey!!!!
